Zacian (Japanese: ザシアン, Hepburn: Zashian) is a Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII. It is the mascot for Pokémon Sword.

• Based on its color representative on its name, Zacian represents ”cyan”.
• The sword in its mouth may be a reference to Excalibur from the Arthurian legends of Celtic Mythology.
• Zacian might be inspired by Sif, a boss character from Dark Souls that is depicted as a large wolf carrying a sword in its mouth.
