The Z-Power Ring is an item introduced in Generation VII. Like Z-Ring and alongside a Z-Crystal, Z-Power Ring can also trigger a Z-Move.
Appearance[]
The Z-Power Ring is completely black everywhere except for the face where it has white highlights and a gray shade where the Z-Ring should go.
History[]
The player character received a mysterious stone after being saved by Tapu Koko. After the battle with Hau, Hala gave the player character the Z-Power Ring, which was made from that mysterious stone.

- Ash Ketchum received his Black Z-Power Ring when the Island Guardians upgraded his Z-Ring so that he would be able to perform various Z-Moves and three Signature Z-Moves. Although, after his Alola journey ended, Ash decided to leave his Z-Power Ring at home. However, during one of his visits to Pallet Town, Ash returns to wearing his Z-Power Ring whenever he is battling in an important World Coordination match.
- Jessie and James received their Purple Z-Power Ring from Nanu to perform Dark-Type Z-Moves or a Signature Z-Move. However, after being ordered back to Kanto by Giovanni, Jessie and James decided to leave their Z-Power Ring in Alola.
Recurring[]
- Gladion obtained his Red Z-Power Ring sometime after the events in Ultra Space and would usually use it to perform various Z-Moves and once used a Signature Z-Move.
Minor[]
- One of the All-Out Brothers has a Black Z-Power Ring as he can use a Signature Z-Move with his Pokémon.
