Episode Plot

3000 years ago, Jan tells Aila that he will find Yveltal at any cost. As things get any worst, Yveltal, it appeared in front of Aila and brought destruction to Jan's Kingdom. Jan battles Yveltal but his Talonflame got petrified. As Yveltal is prepared to petrify Jan, Aila sacrificed her life to save him thus being petrified in the process rendering him unconscious. After Jan wakes up, he saw Ayla petrified. Jan mourns for Aila's death. When Jan sets out to find Xerneas to revive Aila, he found out that Veofum, a local king who wants to use the Life Pokémon's power for his own selfish interests, took Xerneas. Jan tries to stop Beoram from burning Xerneas, but he won't listen. Instead, Beoram met his demise by Zygarde, who was more enraged. Zygarde destroyed Jan's Kingdom with Land's Wrath, sparing Jan's life and putting out the fire. Xerneas in it's tree form transforms into it's deer-like form and Jan pleads Xerneas bring Aila back to life before it hops away. When Jan gets older, Xerneas shares its life energy to revive the forest before leaving. Jan passed away after meeting a young girl and telling her about Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde.

At the present, Professor Sycamore and Alexa visit some ruins that were recently discovered in the Kalos region. Professor Sycamore and Alexa managed to put the pieces of the story together since it was based on the incident with Team Flare.
