XY140: Forming a More Perfect Union!/Transcript

This is a transcript of the Pokémon the Series: XYZ episode: "Forming a More Perfect Union!".

Narrator

The Giant Rock that trapped Mairin's Chespie has begun to move towards the Anistar City Sundial. If the Giant Rock and the Sundial come together, they threaten to create an explosion that would swallow not only Kalos, but the entire world. With time running out, the Kalos Gym Leaders have joined forces with our heroes and their friends.

[Cut to Chespie, incapacitated inside the Giant Rock. The camera zooms out to Rocky Zygarde, still on the move, then to Diantha.]

Diantha

Everybody, head toward the Water Shuriken.

[Everybody runs together with Diantha.]

Diantha

We've got to save Chespie first.

[Serena's team, consisting of herself, her Braixen, Sylveon and Pancham, Bonnie - with her two Zygarde cells, and Mairin, wait for the threat to arrive.]

[The opening theme and title card plays.]

[Rocky Zygarde roars and pounds the ground. Creeping vines are unleashed ahead of him.]

Ash Ketchum

Pikachu, Iron Tail!

Ash's Pikachu

Pikachu... Pika!

[Pikachu breaks some of the vines with Iron Tail.]

Alain

(To Mega Charizard X) Use Flamethrower!

[With a group of vines tangling among one another, Flamethrower burns them down. Ash, Pikachu, Greninja, Alain and Charizard traverse carefully through the vines.]

Malva, Alain and Blaziken Mask

Use Flamethrower!

[Houndoom, Charizard and Blaziken execute their moves. Cut to Ash and Greninja.]

Ash Ketchum

Do it!

Ash's Pikachu

Pika!

[Another move breaks more vines. Spritzee uses Moonblast to break more vines.]

Alain

Come on! Hurry!

[With Olympia and Valerie watching on, Ash, Pikachu, Greninja and Alain run up one of the vines as they move closer to the Giant Rock.]

Ash Ketchum

(Grateful) Thanks a lot!

[Valerie is wrapped by a vine. She screams. Ash's team stop.]

Ash Ketchum

Valerie!

Valerie

Don't worry about me!

Olympia

I'll help out here. Save that Chespin.

Ash Ketchum

Got it!

[Serena's team continue waiting.]

Bonnie

All of you, take care, okay?

[Charizard releases Fire Blast to defeat a vine, creating a path for Ash's team. Pikachu uses Iron Tail, and Greninja uses Cut to take out more vines. Another vine heads straight for him, but he jumps out the way. That vine is taken out by Korrina's Lucario.]

Ash Ketchum

Korrina!

Korrina

You and the others go on ahead, I'll deal with this.

Ash Ketchum

Okay, thanks.

[Lucario tries to out-muscle the vines with his move while Ash's team continue onward. Suddenly, Lucario gets blasted and collides with Korrina. Ash's team stop and turn around, facing her.]

Ash Ketchum

Korrina!

Korrina

You guys need to turn around and run!

Ash Ketchum

Gah... (Turns back around) Got it.

[They run closer to the source. Ramos and Gogoat cut ahead of Ash's team.]

Ramos

Gogoat, use Grass Knot.

[Gogoat ties two vines together with Grass Knot. Suddenly, another vine ties up Ramos and Gogoat.]

Ash Ketchum

Oh, no, Ramos!

Ramos

It looks like it's up to you. Go for it, Ash!

[Ash clenches his face as he runs along the vines tied by Gogoat's Grass Knot. Suddenly, Ash's team fall off and are caught by another vine, but are freed by Viola and Vivillon using one of its moves to break the vines.]

Grant

(To Tyrunt) Use Rock Tomb!

[Rock Tomb takes out another group of vines and forms a wall in-front of Ash's team. The wall solidifies. Viola and Vivillon descend.]

Vivillon

(Squeals)

Viola

Faster, faster!

[Another vine hits Viola, causing her to scream.]

Grant

Viola!

[Grant catches Viola, but both of them are then caught by another vine.]

Ash Ketchum

No, Grant! Viola, are you okay?

Grant

Just get past that wall!

Viola

Do it noooow!

[Ash clenches his face and growls He turns around. Ash's team climb up the wall from Tyrunt's Rock Tomb. The creeping vines go after them. Cut to Wulfric and Abomasnow at the top of the newly-created mountain.]

Wulfric

(To Abomasnow) Ice Shard, go!

[Ice Shard freezes all the vines.]

Wulfric

Hurry up, young ones.

Abomasnow

(Hurt) Snow!

[Another vine hits Abomasnow, blasting it down. Ash's team ascend to the top and look ahead.]

Ash Ketchum

Huh?

[He sees the Water Shuriken.]

Ash Ketchum

There it is.

[More creeping vines thrash about. Malva and Houndoom enters.]

Malva

We need to make a path.

[Malva and Houndoom continue onward.]

Professor Sycamore

Take care of Chespie.

[Sycamore and Garchomp continue onward.]

Diantha

Don't worry. We'll handle it.

[Diantha and Gardevoir continue onward.]

Clemont

No doubt!

[Clemont and his three Pokémon continue onward, along with Blaziken Mask and Blaziken, and Steven.]

Malva

Dark Pulse, go!

Houndoom

Houndoom!

[Dark Pulse breaks another vine.]

Professor Sycamore

Dragon Rage!

Garchomp

Garo!

[Dragon Rage breaks a group of vines. Ash's team continue onward. Another set of vines approach, but are taken out by Charizard's Flamethrower. Sycamore and Malva are suddenly trapped by a group of vines.]

Alain

Professor!

Professor Sycamore

Keep going, you two!

Malva

Just go!

[Ash's team continue running.]

Ash Ketchum

We won't let you down. Count on it!

[Serena's team watch on, concerned. Cut to Mairin.]

Mairin

(To herself) Chespie, everyone's doing their best for you.

[Cut to the stranded Chespie, then back to the action. Pin Missile from Clemont's Chespin takes out more vines.]

Clemont

Luxray, use Swift!

[As Chespin fires off another move, Luxray uses Swift.]

Clemont

Bunnelby, use Mud Shot!

Bunnelby

Bunnelby!

[Mud Shot breaks another vine.]

Clemont

Now go!

Ash Ketchum

Thanks, Clemont.

[As Ash's team continue onward, Serena's team notice the threat in-front of them closing in.]

Serena's group

Huh?

[Another vine prepares to attack them but is broken down by another move, causing a flash in-front of Ash.]

Ash Ketchum

Ah! (Turns around) Ah...

[Team Rocket arrive in their helicopter. Meowth is using the recording camera.]

Jessie

Don't just stand there, twerp!

Meowth

Chespie's waiting! Step on it!

James

Move!

[A vine hits Team Rocket, causing the helicopter to break and everyone to scream.]

Ash Ketchum

Team Rocket!

[Gardevoir hums and helps them land safely with Psychic. James catches Inkay.]

Diantha

Are you okay?

Meowth

You've got to preserve the moment with pictures.

[Everyone in the Pokémon Center watch the activity on the monitor, with concerned looks. Ash's team continue traversing through a vine. Two more appearing vines are broken down by Pokémon moves. Steven and Diantha are running alongside Ash's team on separate vines, followed by their Metagross and Gardevoir respectively.]

Steven Stone

Don't worry about the vines.

Diantha

Keep moving forward. Our future depends on it.

Steven and Diantha

Use Psychic!

[The two moves intertwine a pair of vines, creating a bridge. Metagross and Gardevoir use moves on the vines behind Ash's team. Steven and Diantha stand back to back. Blaziken Mask and Blaziken land. The latter uses Flamethrower, but they are quickly caught by another vine. Cut to the Zygarde Cells]

Blue Dot Cell

Why are they giving so much?

Red Dot Cell

I've realized from observing them that this is how people and Pokémon really are.

[Ash's team continue onward.]

Ash Ketchum

Over there!

[The camera pans up, revealing that the core is close to them.]

Ash Ketchum

Pikachu, Electro Ball! Greninja, Water Shuriken!

Alain

Charizard, Flamethrower!

Ash's Pikachu

Pikachu!

Greninja

Ninja!

Charizard

(Roars)

[All three Pokémon set up their moves while vines block their way.]

Viola

Let's go!

Grant

Let's go!

Korrina

Let's go!

Ramos

Over there!

Valerie

Hurry up!

Olympia

Let's go!

Wulfric

Do it now!

Steven Stone

Let's go!

Professor Sycamore

Let's go!

Malva

Ash Ketchum

[The Pokémon unload their moves simultaneously.]

Ash's Pikachu

Pika!

Greninja

Ninja!

Charizard

(Roars)

[The move combination destroys the Giant Rock's core. Ash's team leap into the explosion. the smoke clears, revealing that they've made it inside the Giant Rock's core. They look upwards.]

Alain

Huh?

Ash Ketchum

Huh?

[The camera pans up to reveal Chespie, incapacitated and stuck with his limbs attached to four rocks.]

Alain

Chespie! (Runs) Hang on!

[Alain is forced to dodge protruding rocks.]

Ash Ketchum

I'll cover you as best I can, Alain. Now, you go and get Chespie.

[Alain nods.]

Ash Ketchum

Now, Charizard, help me out. Come on!

[The three Pokémon get ready and dash off, leaving Ash alone. Alain is still running along the rocks. A rock shoots down towards him.]

Ash Ketchum

Pikachu, Electro Ball! And Greninja, use Cut!

[Their moves break down more rocks, clearing a path for Alain. Outside the core, Pokémon are still attacking the Giant Rock with their moves. Rocky Zygarde and vines approach Serena's team in close range, causing them to yelp.]

Serena

Everyone, go!

[As the vines close in on them Pancham, Sylveon and Braixen execute their moves to break them apart. Another vine approaches Mairin.]

Mairin

Huh? Ah!

[Inside the core, Charizard uses Flamethrower to break another rock, but another rock protrudes in front of him.]

Ash Ketchum

Don't stop, Alain! Greninja, Water Shuriken!

[Water Shuriken breaks another rock. Alain leaps and tries to catch Chespie with protruding rocks going after him.]

Alain

(To himself) Chespie, it's Alain. I've come to get you out of here. Let's go back to Mairin together.

[Outside the core, Serena braces Mairin as the Giant Rock approaches them. At the last instance, it halts just before the vines hit them.]

Serena, Mairin and Bonnie

Huh?

[The camera pans up at the stopped Giant Rock, outside and inside the core. Greninja jumps out of the core, along with Charizard, carrying Alain, Ash and the rest of the Pokémon, including Mairin's Chespin. Everyone else react in jubilation.]

Serena

It's Ash and Alain!

[Mairin has her arms out wide and runs, ready to hug her Chespin.]

Mairin

Chespie!

Wulfric

That what I call success.

Clemont

Ash, you did it!

Ramos

(Laughs)

Korrina

Yes, you did it!

Professor Sycamore

Just marvelous. A job well done, Alain.

[Alain hands over Mairin's Chespin to her. She holds him tight.]

Mairin

(Touched) Chespie, I've got you. (To everyone else) Thank you so much.

[Alain smiles.]

Steven Stone

All that's left is what's in front of us.

[The camera pans to the Giant Rock, including the inside where parts of the core has shattered. Everyone lines up alongside each other.]

Diantha

Let's all attack together. NOW!

[Every Pokémon unleash their moves simultaneously. The moves merge into a giant beam of light and hits the Giant Rock, casing an explosion. It bends over backwards.]

Ash Ketchum

Did it work?

Ash's Pikachu

Pika.

[The Giant Rock lights up and rejuvenate. It roars back at them, causing everyone's jaws to drop. Lysandre enters from the Giant Rock, still fully equipped with weapons and armor.]

Alain

It can't be!

Ash Ketchum

I know. But how?

Malva

Lysandre.

Lysandre

Even if you're somehow able to stop me, I will still destroy the world. Count on it.

[The segment "Who's that Pokémon?" plays.]

[The Giant Rock fully functions again and roars, facing the Sundial up ahead.]

Ash Ketchum

Lysandre! How is he doing this?

Lysandre

The countdown to destruction will not stop.

[He points his arm out, loading up his weapons.]

Clemont

Oh!

[The Giant Rock lights up, generating power from its core.]

Diantha

Here it comes!

Valerie

(To Spritzee) Light Screen, quick!

[Spritzee sets up a dome-shaped Light Screen just in time. The Giant fires a large beam, which deflects off the screen. Parts of the ground explode, emitting a bright light. Cut to Team Rocket.]

James

Such power!

Jessie

Will this insanity never end?!

Meowth

If it reaches the Sundial, cut! That's a wrap!

[Cut to the Sundial, which stays intact. Trainers check on their Pokémon in the rubble.]

Ash Ketchum

Pikachu. And Greninja!

Ash's Pikachu

Pika, pika!

Greninja

Ninja!

Alain

Charizard. You're not hurt, are you?

Charizard

(Grunts)

[The two Zygarde Cells shake off the soot. Clemont and Bonnie hide under Blaziken Mask's cape.]

Bonnie

So, what happened?

[Blaziken Mask groans and gets up. The mask is dropped, revealing its true identity.]

Clemont & Bonnie

Oh! Dad?!

Blaziken Mask

(Chuckles) Guilty as charged. (Strains)

[Bonnie and Clemont notice.]

Bonnie

Are you all right? Are you hurt?

Blaziken Mask

Don't worry. I'm just fine. Are you two all right?

Clemont and Bonnie

(Nod) Mm-mm.

[Lysandre loads up his weapons and devices. The Giant Rock starts moving again.]

Diantha

It's moving.

Alain

How do we make it stop?

Clemont

Everyone, listen to me. The power that's moving it has something to do with the device on Lysandre's arm.

[The camera cuts to a close-up of Lysandre's arm, stretched out.]

Alain

Then it must be destroyed now!

Ash Ketchum

(Prepared for battle) That will stop it?

Clemont

We have to try anything.

Diantha

We've got to give it everything we have left. It's our only chance.

Everyone else

Right!

[Team Rocket get up, continuing their recording.]

Blue Dot Cell

So they WILL fight against that tremendous evil?

Red Dot Cell

Neither humans nor Pokémon give up.

Blue Dot Cell

But they're far too weak.

Red Dot Cell

None of them think they're weak. You should have seen this by now. It's true that humans are weak and powerless, but they have dreams, and they believe in each other. They stand together and feel empathy for each other. That is their real strength. They have the power to believe in themselves, and within themselves they somehow find the will to succeed.

[The Giant Rock unleashes another large beam at the heroes, creating a massive explosion with a bright light and causing everyone to scream and blast back. The explosion ends. People and Pokémon are wounded and knocked down from the hit.]

Blue Dot Cell

Then I will believe in them.

Red Dot Cell

Now you understand?

Blue Dot Cell

Yes.

[Both Zygarde Cells let go of Bonnie's hands. Bonnie goes after them, but her dad restrains her.]

Bonnie

Squishy!

Blaziken Mask

Bonnie, wait.

[The two Zygarde cells face the Giant Rock.]

Zygarde

I am Zygarde, defender of order!

[The Cells glow together, generating shockwaves.]

Both Zygarde Cells

We will show them our full power. You won't destroy the world.

[The Zygarde Cells from across the world merge together. A bright green light flashes, blinding Lysandre.]

Lysandre

What's this?!

[Everyone else becomes aware of the situation. Zygarde's transformation is complete, becoming its 100% Forme.]

Bonnie

Oh, Squishy.

Alain

Is that Zygarde?

Olympia

Those deep green eyes. That is it. The form when all has become one.

Ash Ketchum

Become one?

Lysandre

And still you hid this form? You must have been saying the world in the same way I was. The unlimited greed of humans has sent the world spinning into chaos. Have you not felt that? If I had not raised my objections, the world would continue on its warped path. But now you choose to appear. What could possibly be left to defend? (Shouting) You have no right!

[Zygarde lights up its eyes.]

Zygarde

If it is a right you speak of, this world belongs to them. I have placed my hopes in humanity. They have always protected me. They kept their promise not to leave my side. Now it is my turn.

Lysandre

(Preparing his weapons) I will incinerate you!

[The Giant Rock unloads a powerful beam. Zygarde sets up its blaster and fires too. The two beams collide, crating an explosion in the middle, shaking the ground and causing everyone else to flinch and shield their eyes. The Giant Rock attempts to attack Zygarde with the creeping vines. Zygarde flies to dodge the attack. It then glows green and charges at the target at lightning speed, hitting the core directly and damaging it.]

Lysandre

Impudent fool!

[Lysandre sets up the device on his arm.]

Ash Ketchum

All right, Pikachu, use Thunderbolt! Greninja, use Water Shuriken!

[Pikachu and Greninja take off.]

Alain

Charizard, use Flamethrower!

[Charizard, Pikachu and Greninja fire their moves together at Lysandre, hitting him directly and creating an explosion and causing him to yelp. His device comes off his arm.]

Lysandre

It can't be. It must be a mistake. All of my meticulous planning was perfect.

[Zygarde glows green and charges at the Giant Rock again. Holding on and firing beams, it applies enough pressure and force to create a hole through the other side of the Giant Rock's body, causing it to go groggy.]

Bonnie

Squishy!

[The Giant Rock starts to crumble. Lysandre screams in anger.]

Zygarde

Kalos! I will protect you!

[Zygarde prepares another beam.]

Bonnie

Squishy, go for it!

[Zygarde unleashes a multicolored beam at Lysandre and the Giant Rock. Lysandre is blasted and moves uncontrollably while surrounded by green light.]

Lysandre

(Screams) Not yet! Move! It's not over yet!

[Ash groans and braces himself. Alain grunts. The explosion ends. Everyone gathers and watches on.]

Ash Ketchum

Ah!

Alain

Ah.

[The smoke clears. The Giant Rock is gone. Cut to Meowth, holding the camera.]

Meowth

That is a wrap!

James

(Poses) Take a look. Look what we did, world!

[Zygarde stays standing.]

Jessie

That giant monstrosity is gone, but we're still standing!

[Cut to the Pokémon Center. Everyone chatters and cheers in celebration.]

Woman 1

Yeah!

Woman 2

The threat to Kalos is history!

[The Sundial stops glowing. Olympia watches on.]

Olympia

The Sundial was protected.

Diantha

Thank you everyone.

Korrina

We won! We really won!

[Olympia nods and smiles.]

Steven Stone

Where's Lysandre?

Malva

Who knows?

[Malva walks away.]

Malva

You leave Team Flare to me. When I'm done cleaning them up, I'll drop in on Officer Jenny.

[Mairin's Chespin opens its eyes.]

Chespie

Che... Chespin?

[Mairin struggles to control her tears.]

Mairin

(Breaks voice) Oh! Chespie, you're awake! You're awake!

[She holds her Pokémon tightly.]

Chespie

Che!

Mairin

Alain! (Rubs off a tear) Look at Chespie!

Chespie

(Happy) Chesp!

[Alain strokes Chespin.]

Alain

I'm so happy for you. Mairin, please forgive me for everything I did.

[Mairin shakes her head.]

Mairin

Stop. I'm just happy that you're alright.

[Alain nods. Zygarde looks down at the people.]

Bonnie

Squishy! Thanks a lot!

Zygarde

Bonnie, I only did what you have done for me all along. It is I who should thank you. I'm so grateful.

[Bonnie shakes her head. Zygarde creates a shockwave, turning the night sky back to blue once more. The creeping vines disappear all over Lumiose City. Zygarde starts glowing and extracting cells, leaving just the Blue Dot Cell and Red Dot Cell remaining. Chespie becomes curious and lets go of Mairin's arms.]

Chespie

Chespin. Chespin!

Red Dot Cell

It's you. I would like to express my gratitude to you as well. Thank you.

Chespie

Chespiiin!

Red Dot Cell

Bonnie. To have journeyed with you and to have learned about humans from you, I am grateful.

Bonnie

Is this goodbye?

Red Dot Cell

I'm tired. I think I'd like to rest in the sun. I'm glad to have met you.

[Flashbacks of Bonnie and Squishy play.]

Bonnie

(Upset) Oh, Squishy. I'm glad that I met you too.

Dedenne

Dedene!

Red Dot Cell

I'll never forget you, Bonnie.

[Bonnie rubs her arm over her eyes.]

Bonnie

(Upset) I love you, Squishy! I love you!

[The pair of Zygarde Cells bid farewell, floating and disappearing. Dawn breaks and the sun rises.]

Narrator

And so the final curtain falls on Team Flare and their threat to the Kalos region. The sun now rises again on the world that Ash and his friends protected, as the journey continues.

[The caption "TO BE CONTINUED..." appears at the bottom of the screen. The credits appear.]
