Trivia

  • Wimpod is the second Bug and Water type pokemon known to date following Surskit.
  • Wimpod is considered the Alolan counterpart to Magikarp due to their many similarities:
    • Both are one of the weakest Pokemon in each of their generations.
    • Both evolve into powerful Pokemon, Gyarados and Golisopod.
    • Both are hard to train due to their low base stats.
