The Waterworks are a location in Pokémon Ranger. It is the water treatment system of Fall City. The Player first travels her to deal with an outbreak of Grimer that threaten to contaminate the city's water. It is later revealed that the Go-Rock Squad brought the Grimer from another region into the waterworks to test their prototype Super Stylers and released them so they couldn't return to their natural habitat. After the Grimer and a Muk are rounded up, they are given a new home in the sludge storage area.
