Wandering Spirit (Japanese: さまようたましい, Hepburn: Samayō Tamashī) is an Ability exclusive to Galarian Yamask and Runerigus, introduced in Generation VIII.

Effect[]
When the Pokémon with Wandering Spirit is hit by an opposing Pokémon's contact move, they will swap Abilities. This Ability still activates even if the Pokémon with Wandering Spirit faints. The original Abilities will return when the Pokémon with Wandering Spirit switches out of battle.
Wandering Spirit will not work if the opposing Pokémon's Ability is As One, Battle Bond, Comatose, Commander, Disguise, Flower Gift, Forecast, Gulp Missile, Hunger Switch, Ice Face, Illusion, Imposter, Multitype, Neutralizing Gas, Power of Alchemy, Receiver, RKS System, Schooling, Shields Down, Stance Change, Wonder Guard, Zen Mode, or Zero to Hero.
