Wallace is a character appearing in Pokémon: DP Battle Dimension, who is a Top Coordinator and was the Champion of the Hoenn region.

Appearance

Wallace is a tall, thin young man with light blue eyes and teal blue hair that curls gracefully around his head. He also wears a white beret, cape and shoes, a teal shirt with white sleeves and purple pants.

Biography

Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl

Wallace is the Pokémon League Champion of Hoenn at the time of the annual Wallace Cup Pokémon Contest taking place at Lake Valor in Sinnoh. Because of the fact that the competition is named after him, Wallace gets a lot of attention from the media. He and his Milotic are able to find a quiet place to rest and relax; soon, their location is discovered by Kanto Pokémon Trainer Ash Ketchum and his friends, Indigo Pokémon League Pewter City Gym Leader Brock, and local Sinnoh resident from Twinleaf Town and Pokémon Coordinator, Dawn, who hoped to find Wallace to either battle with him or display their contest moves for the upcoming Wallace Cup. Ash and his friends are not alone; Team Rocket shows up as well, but in disguise as Dawn's fellow competitor Jessilina and her coaches. Jessie tries to show off her Seviper in a tribute to Wallace's Milotic, but gets carried away with hoping that Wallace will cheer for her in the competition, forcing her to be restrained by James and Meowth; she struggles to break free to resume her little tirade as they drag her off.

Not at all perturbed by Jessie's antics, Wallace shows off an amazing display of moves with his Milotic before wishing everyone good luck and telling him that he will see them at the Wallace Cup, and then leaves with his Milotic. Luckily for Wallace, the local Sinnoh media never got footage of his little encounter with Ash, his friends and Team Rocket, as the camera's battery died.

Wallace acts as a fourth, honorary judge at the Wallace Cup, offering his own comments alongside Mr. Contesta, Mr. Sukizo, and the local Nurse Joy as each of the trainers show off their best moves in the first round of appeals, then move on to the second round of battling, with Twinleaf Town's Dawn managing to just barely defeat Wallace's fellow resident of Hoenn and daughter of Hoenn Pokémon League Petalburg City Gym Leader Norman, May, by a few points, winning Dawn the coveted Aqua Ribbon, putting her one step closer to being in the Sinnoh Pokémon Contest Grand Festival. With that, Wallace declares the Wallace Cup officially over, and wishes to see everyone again at next year's Wallace Cup.^[1] Template:Incomplete-plot
