This Magneton is an Electric/Steel-type Pokémon owned by Vincent.
Biography[]
VIncent's shiny Magneton was used to battle Ash in the Silver Conference. Facing Pikachu, it absorbed the latter's Thunderbolt and retaliated using the same move. Pikachu used Quick Attack, but was defeated by Magneton's Thunder Wave and Tri-Attack combo. As Ash sent Cyndaquil, it used Flamethrower to attack Magneton, who evaded. Magneton then fired Thunder Wave, but Cyndaquil used Smokescreen to reduce its vision, allowing Cyndaquil to hit it with Swift. Magneton, however, used Double Team, and defeated Cyndaquil with Thunder Wave/Tri-Attack combo, too.
Ash sent Bulbasaur, who quickly evaded Thunder Wave and used Razor Leaf. Magneton increased its evasiveness with Double Team, but was nevertheless struck with Vine Whip. Magneton fired a Thunder Wave, but was countered by Vine Whip. Magneton attempted to defeat Bulbasaur with a Tri-Attack. However, using Vine Whip, Bulbasaur tossed itself away, fired a Leech Seed to drain Magneton's energy and defeat it with Vine Whip.[1]
