Vileplume (Japanese: ラフレシア Rafureshia) is a Grass/Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I.

Trivia

Origin

Vileplume appears to be based on the Rafflesia Arnoldii flower. Its female gender difference may reference the Rafflesia Hasseltii, which has larger white spots than its counterpart.

Etymology

Vileplume comes from the words vile and plume.
