Victor is a new Pokémon Trainer and the male protagonist in Pokémon Sword and Shield. He is one of the two main protagonists alongside Gloria.
Appearance
Victor is a short young man with fair skin, short brown hair, and brown eyes. He wears a gray beanie, a red t-shirt with rolled-up sleeves, and blue jeans with a tartan green pattern, along with brown running shoes. (He also carries around a brown suitcase on his back to store his items.) Much of his outfit appears to be very similar to Gloria's- his hat looks like her cardigan, the pattern on his jeans looks like her socks, and his shoes are very similar in color to her boots.
Apart from his basic features, Victor's appearance in the game can be altered from the very beginning. The player character is given the option to change his starting hair color, eye color, and complexion from a variety of presets. A few of these are permanent, but many of the other aspects can be customized further later on.
During official matches, Victor wears a standard Gym Challenger uniform, with the uniform's number having the ability to be altered. Strangely, his version of the uniform's shorts are much, much longer than Gloria's version.
Personality
Victor's personality is largely unknown as he is a silent protagonist. Like most residents of the Galar region, he seems to be a competitive person and big fan of the Pokémon League, he also doesn't show any ill will towards his enemies, as he had no trouble working with Team Yell during his visit to Wyndon despite their multiple attempts to boycott his Gym Challenge previously. Victor has a friendly rivalry with his childhood friend Hop. Victor has a habit of adjusting his hair before walking into Stadium fields. Even though most fans see him as shy and bashful.
