Verity is a character appearing in I Choose You!. She is from the Sinnoh region with her starter being Piplup.
Appearance
Verity has fair skin, brown eyes, black triangular eyebrows and brown hair with a ponytail on top. She wears a blue t-shirt with a black semi-circle on it, white shorts over black and blue leggings, pink shoes with black straps, white bows and soles, and a white backpack with one strap tied in a knot.
She was briefly shown wearing a two-piece, dark blue swimsuit with magenta sides on the bottom and straps for swimwear.
Personality
Verity is an adventurous and tomboyish girl. Initially, she was very mean towards Ash, mocking him about his relationship with his mother, Delia, much to the boy's annoyance. However, after Ash calmed down a wild rampaging Onix when it was rudely, but also mistakenly woken up due to her Piplup unintentionally hitting it with Hydro Pump whilst battling Ash's Pikachu, she started to respect him much more as the movie progressed.
In the past, Verity used to be close with her mother, but they became distant from each other, due to her mother's fame as an excellent trainer. After her journey, she has opened up her heart and decides to repair her relationship with her mother.
