Vast Poni Canyon is a canyon on Poni Island in the Alola region. It is the location of an unmanned dragon-type trial, the seventh to be challenged by the player character. It is also where, in Pokémon Sun and Moon, the Island Kahuna Hapu is fought.

Trial (near the Altar of Sunne/Moone)

This trial is fairly basic. It is stated to be the Alola region's oldest trial. It involves first battling two Pokémon before reaching the Totem.

The player character will receive the Dragonium Z after defeating the Totem.
