Trivia[]
- This was the last opening theme song made by 4Kids Entertainment, as The Pokémon Company International took over dubbing for the series in the seasons following.
- Noland is the only Frontier Brain revealed in the intro.
- The intro originally had three new Pokémon introduced in Generation IV to Western audiences: Mime Jr., Weavile and Lucario. It starts with Mime Jr. dancing with Team Rocket while Weavile runs past them, as well as Lucario standing on a tree branch with a Mew flying past. This was later changed starting in "Vanity Affair" by editing out Mime Jr. and Weavile in the Team Rocket scene and replacing the shot of Mew and Lucario with a scene of Pikachu using Iron Tail.
- This is due to the fact that Mime Jr. and Weavile did not have official English names at the time, while on top of that, the former was not captured by James until the following season.
- This is the only theme song used in a Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire movie, as others used instrumental scores or a score specifically written for the English dub.
