This Meowth is a Normal-type Pokémon owned by Tyson.
Biography
It appeared for the first time in Like a Meowth to a Flame, where Tyson used it to save Ash and his friends from a flock of Murkrow. Tyson found Meowth in a weak condition after a battle with a Persian, and decided to help it. And it became a loyal companion after that though it has a bitter hatred of Persians to the point that it would severely injure them. It was strong enough to evolve but it refused to do so and it also regarded Team Rocket's Meowth as a weakling and a disgrace to all Meowths.
