Pokémon the Series: The Beginning
Tomo's mother was searching for her son after her husband dropped him from then helicopter. She saw Tomo living among the Kangaskhan and attempted to get Tomo to remember her. Since Tomo did not want to leave the Kangaskhan, she and her husband decided to live in the Safari Zone.
