Template:BallIteminfobox Timer Ball is a type of Poké Ball used for catching Pokémon. For every ten turns that pass in a battle with a wild Pokémon, the chances of success for capturing the Pokémon increases. Its starting effectiveness is no better than that of a standard Poké Ball. It has a black, white, and red top with the sides of the top half being black also along with what looks like a cooking timer type handle in orange pointing toward the button. It has a better catch rate the more turns there are before using it.

Catch Rate

Generation III and IV

$ \Omega_{TBGenIIIandIV} = \frac {\tau + 10}{10} $

τ - Amount of number of turns

Generation V

$ \Omega_{TBGenV} = \frac {x + 1229}{4096} $

x is the catch rate (1x is the default)
