Every dungeon in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon has a Time Limit, meaning the player cannot stay in the same floor in a dungeon forever and will eventually be kicked out. If the player exceeds the dungeon's time limit, it is counted as a loss, and it cannot be prevented by any way. The amount of turns a player can stay in a floor varies, though.
Time Limit Warnings
Several warnings are given to the player before he is knocked out.
- Something is stirring
- Something is approaching
- It's coming closer
- It's right near! It's gusting hard!
After the last warning, the player will be knocked out and sent out of the dungeon.
