Tera Blast is a move introduced in Generation IX. It is TM171 in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
Description[]
Games | Description |
---|---|
SV | If the user has Terastallized, it unleashes energy of its Tera Type. This move inflicts damage using the Attack or Sp. Atk stat—whichever is higher for the user. |
Effect[]
When Terastallized, Tera Blast deals damage and the type changes to whatever Tera Type the user is. If the user's physical attack is higher, then the attack does physical damage. If the user's special attack is higher, then the attack does special damage.
Learnset[]
By TM[]
Every Pokémon can learn this move (except Magikarp, Ditto and Terapagos), even the ones that don't learn TMs normally.
