Tandemaus (Japanese: ワッカネズミ, HepburnWakkanezumi) (TAN-duh-mouse[1]) is a Normal-type Pokémon in Generation IX.

Biology[]

Physiology[]

Tandemaus consists of two small white mouse Pokémon. They have a pattern on their fur resembling a blue shirt and pants, although very faint.

Shiny Tandemaus have yellow-gold shirt and pants.

Behavior[]

Tandemaus are always seen in pairs and live as a couple. They frequently scavenge with their incisors to cut pieces of interesting nesting materials to create their own nest with, with rooms intended for eating or sleeping. They always stay together no matter the circumstances and share their food exactly in half and eat together.

Tandemaus can "grow" a family, becoming a Maushold. It is not known where the smaller Tandemaus comes from, as they just "appeared" in front of the Tandemaus couple one day.

Natural Abilities[]

Tandemaus, along with their "evolved" form Maushold, can use the move Population Bomb.

Evolution[]

Tandemaus can evolve into Maushold at level 25 or higher at random.

There is a 99/100 chance for Tandemaus to evolve into a family of four Maushold, and a 1/100 chance for a family of three.
