TV Tokyo is a Japanese television network. It currently broadcasts the Pokémon anime series as one of its Sunday. It is known for airing other anime, such as Yu-Gi-Oh!, Naruto, Bleach, Cocotama, Aikatsu, and others.
When the Pokémon anime began, the timeslot for episodes was Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM (JST). After the "Cyber Soldier Porygon" episode, its timeslot changed to Tuesday and later Thursday at 7 PM (JST). Since "A Keeper for Keeps?", the timeslot was Thursday at 6:55 PM (JST). From "A Plethora of Pikachu!", it airs on Sunday at 6 PM (JST), where it currently remains. It is also broadcast at different times on its regional-specific affiliate channels (part of the TX Network/TXN) throughout the country, including but not limited to TV Osaka, TV Hokkaido, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting, TV Aichi, and TV Setouchi.
