Super Fang is a Normal-type move introduced in Generation I. It was the signature move of Rattata and Raticate until Generation IV.

In Battle[]
The user chomps hard on the foe with its sharp front fangs. It cuts the target's current HP in half.
However, should the target's current HP be 1, then the HP will always stay at 1.
Total damage done by Super Fang (denoted by τ (tau)) is calculated by the formula:
Where:
- τ (tau) is the Super Fang damage calculation.
- β_TargetHP (beta) is the opponent's current HP.
For instance, a Pokémon with 416 HP will have 208 HP remaining after Super Fang hits.
