Submarine is a location in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs.

Overview[]

The Submarine is a large transport used by the Pinchers as a base to haul supplies and pinched Pokémon. The Player first encounters the Submarine when they are sent falling into the Western Sea, and it sends them into the Oblivia current. When the Partner is captured, they are held prisoner on the Submarine while blindfolded, but they manage to stick a tracker when no one is looking and that allows them and the Player to find and infiltrate it. During the infiltration of the Submarine, the Rangers find and free Ukulele Pichu's friends that were taken from Dolce Island as well as the Partner's Staraptor. The Rangers eventually reach the control room and defeat Blue Eyes' Feraligatr. Immediately after her defeat, Blue Eyes receives a message from her superior who demotes her for her repeated failures. In a fit of frustration, Blue Eyes orders the Submarine be crashed into the ocean floor and that the crew evacuate. After the crash, the Rangers awaken and discover the Submarine ended up on sloping underwater cliff and is slowly sinking further. The Rangers and the remaining Pokémon on board make their way to the escape hatch and discover Blue Eyes pinned under a crate after pushing two of her henchman away from it. The Rangers free Blue Eyes and everyone escapes to the surface where they are rescued by Murph sailing the Union, though the Pinchers escape without a trace.
