Trivia

  • Stonjourner's legs have a similar color palette and design to that of Diggersby's ears.
  • It‘s kicking abilities are only limited to Mega Kick.
  • It has the lowest known base special defence of all Pokémon (20). It shares this with Deoxys in its Attack form, Magikarp, Carvanha, Igglybuff and both of the early route Gen 1 bugs.
  • The Grey crosses on its legs are similar to those of the stones found in Turfield. Surprisingly they don’t spawn there at all in either versions.

Origin

The design of Stonjourner is based on Stonehenge from Wiltshire, England. Stonjourner's strange behavior of forming a circle with others of its kind may reference Stonehenges ties to astronomy and facts that state that the monument used to be visited once a year by ancient people.

Etymology

Stonjourner comes from the word stone and sojourner.
