Steve is a character appearing in Pokémon Journeys: The Series.
Biography[]
Steve, alongside Tony, are employees at the Vermilion City Gym. They are responsible for cleaning up the battlefield after battles. He keeps score of Visquez's ranking and potential challengers for the World Coronation Series.
After winning her Gym battle against a challenger, Visquez was eager to challenge someone from the World Coronation Series, to which Steve told her that there was a challenger nearby, turning out to be Ash. He and Tony watched Ash and Visquez's battle from the stands and were disappointed when she lost.[1]
