These Magneton are Electric/Steel-type Pokémon owned by Spinel.
Biography[]
Spinel owns multiple Magneton, though only one appears to be actively used for battle.
The first Magneton appeared in a forest near Artazon, where it jammed the electronics in the area, preventing the Rising Volt Tacklers from communicating with each other. Professor Friede discovered and chased it away with his Charizard.[1]
Spinel later sent a group of Magneton outside Levincia, disrupting the Brave Olivine's electronics in the process. They were spotted by the group's Noctowl before Friede chased them off with Charizard again, though the coincidence made him realize that someone was intentionally targeting them. He chased after one of them into an alley, where it worked with his Beheeyem to battle Charizard, though both were forced to retreat when Friede pulled a Tera Orb to Terastallize Charizard into a Dark-type, with Beheeyem teleporting both of them back to their owner.[2] In "Quaxly, We Can Do It!", Magneton jams the signals causing Dot to lose contact. It teams up with Beheeyem to take on Dot and her Pokémon. Magneton hits Quaxly with Electro Ball, but after a second go, is intercepted by Liko's Sprigatito, as Liko and Roy arrive on the container ship. reuniting Dot and their Pokémon to take on it and Beheeyem in battle. Liko and Sprigatito soon figure out Spinel's combo moves, gaining momentum for the opposing team. Sprigatito and Quaxly work together finish off Magneton's team-mate. Magneton is soon defeated after being distracted by Wattrel and getting hit by Fuecoco's Ember.[3]
