As the player progresses through the Post-Game, there are special missions that appear at random, special occasions, which are known as Special Missions.
The Seven Sacred Treasures
In Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky, there are seven special missions from the Bulletin Board, each mission being that the player explores a new dungeon to get the treasure that is protected by the leader of the dungeon. After completing each of the missions, there will be a badge on the Start Screen that looks like a gold chest saying the player completed the missions.
The seven dungeons are:
- Bottomless Sea (getting the Aqua Monica, protected by Kyogre)
- Shimmer Desert (getting the Terra Cymbal, protected by Groudon)
