This Yamper is an electric-type Pokémon owned by Sonia.
Biography[]
Yamper accompanied Sonia at Motostoke, where they played a small prank on Henry Sword, Casey, Marvin and Professor Magnolia: Sonia uttered a voice so it would make it seem a statue would speak, until Yamper started barking.[1] Sonia let Yamper out in Hulbury, as she talked on her phone with Nessa.[2] In Hammerlocke's vault, Sonia encountered an Oranguru, and by accident, stepped on its fan. Oranguru was enraged and chased after her, and in the confusion, her Yamper came out. Oranguru took control of it to attack Sonia, who was helped by Henry Sword Sword and Raihan to calm Oranguru down.[3] Sonia and Yamper joined Professor Magnolia, Melony and Marvin, as they went to meet up with Henry Sword Sword Sword and Casey, the former trying to repair Mr. Rime's cane.[4]
