Solaceon Ruins is a location introduced in Generation IV.

Description[]

Solaceon Ruins is an underground area near Solaceon Town inhabited by Unown. It is several stories deep.

There are 6 floors in total, and on each one there is an Unown representing a letter of "FRIEND." The Unown are encountered in alphabetical sequence: the first floor has the "F" Unown; the second floor has the "R"; the third floor has the "I"; the fourth floor has "E"; the fifth floor has "N"; and the sixth floor has "D". The other 20 Unown letters appear in the dead-end rooms.

Each floor and each room contains different Unown. On some, it is possible to find all Unown (A-Z). On other floors, the Unown found are different from room to room and on some floors the beginning letter of the item found on that floor. For example, if someone were to find a Water Stone in a rock on a floor in the Solaceon Ruins, the Unown found on that floor would only be the "W" ones.

After catching all 26 types of Unown, you can go to the second floor to catch the ? and ! ones. The second room also leads to a door with a Rare Candy item on the other side.
