Trivia[]

With Simple Beam, it is possible to max out the Special Attack stat without using Belly Drum. In a Triple Battle, one Pokémon uses Wide Guard, one Pokémon uses Simple Beam, and the other uses Tail Glow. Then the Pokémon that has its stat maximized can Baton Pass to a sweeper.
