Sea of Wailord is a location in Almia, located west of Pueltown.

Overview

Altru Inc. has polluted this sea with scrap metal and various other pieces of junk, complicating the navigation. Despite that many Water-type Pokémon can be found here. Team Dim Sun attempts to capture a Wailord in order to replace their crashed Cargo Ship. The player enters the sea after their boat ride to Haruba Village is interrupted by a geyser shooting from below the water and dives down to investigate. They discover Team Dim Sun's attempt to capture a Wailord and proceed to destroy the machines holding it. After all four machines are destroyed, the Team Dim Sun goons decide to kidnap a Wailmer that is close to the Wailord and pass it off as a "Wailord-mini." The Wailord takes the Player to the Oil Field Hideout to rescue the Wailmer.

Trivia

Even though Wailord is can be registered in the Styler, the only way to do so is to free it from Team Dim Sun's machines because its massive size prevents conventional capture.
