Scream Tail (Japanese: サケブシッポ, HepburnSakebushippo) is a Fairy/Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX.

Biology[]

Physiology[]

Scream Tail is a round and pink pokemon that resembles a Jigglypuff for the most part, but with subtle differences. It has two feet attached to its main body that possess three toes each and it has tufts of hair fringing out beside its ears. It possesses what appears to be a long pony tail and yellow irises in their eyes. Below their eyes are two blush-circles and a mouth possessing two fangs.

Shiny Scream Tail has a more violet appearance to it over their normal counterparts. Their eyes are also red rather than yellow.

Behavior[]

According to Occulture, it resembles a Jigglypuff from one billion years ago. Scream Tail is said to be ferociously aggressive to the point it attacks anyone who comes near. It is named after a creature with distinct tail and loud screaming voice.

Natural abilities[]

Scream Tail can only have the ability Protosynthesis, which will boost its most proficient stat in harsh sunlight or if it's holding a Booster Energy.

Evolution[]

Scream Tail does not have an evolution, due to Wigglytuff not having a Paradox Pokemon form.

Game Info[]

The player will encounter a Scream Tail when they progress through part of Area Zero. The first one is fought with Nemona. As you progress downwards of Area Zero to reach the lab that Sada is in, Scream Tail spawning becomes more frequent.

    Trivia[]

    • According to the magazine referenced in Scream Tail's Violet Pokédex entry, it existed 400 million years before the first multicellular life on Earth; however, due to the magazine's dubious nature, this probably isn't true.

    Origin[]

Scream Tail seems to be in close resemblance to its modern incarnation, Jigglypuff, albeit with a more feral appearance. Its habit of screeching, sharp fangs and hostile behavior may stem from vampires, especially with its eerie golden eyes as opposed to Jigglypuff's more gentler blue eyes.
