Scholastic is a book publishing company. They had done some English adaptations of Pokémon films. For example MS001: Pokémon: The First Movie which had a hardcover release in 1998 prior to the November 1999 debut of the English dub. The 109 page novel by Tracey West was also released in softcover (paperback) format in November 1999.
