Salazzle (Japanese: エンニュート, Hepburn: Ennyuuto) is a Poison/Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII.
Biology
Physiology
Salazzle is a slender bipedal reptilian Pokémon resembling a lizard or a dinosaur. It is colored black and purple, except for a pair of pink markings on its chest. Its hands and feet have five fingers and toes each, and a pair of long ribbon-like appendages emerge from its back.
Behavior
Salazzle emits toxic fumes that contain pheromones that attract any males in the area and cause them to be easily controlled by Salazzle. Salazzle lives with a harem of male Salandit. Diluted, the toxic gases Salazzle produces are used as ingredients of certain perfumes.

Trivia
- Salazzle is very similar to Vespiquen, as they evolve from female Pokémon only. The males of their pre-evolutions never evolve.
- Salazzle and its pre-evolution Salandit are the only Pokémon so far to have this unique type combination.
Origin
Salazzle may be based on a salamander, which is usually associated with fire in Japanese mythology. Its all-female nature may be inspired by the New Mexico Whiptail. Its appearance and posture may also draw inspiration from dromaeosaur dinosaurs like Velociraptor.
Etymology
Salazzle is a combination of salamander and dazzle. It might also include sizzle which means to slightly and slowly burn.
