This Turtonator is a Fire/Dragon-type Pokémon owned by Ryuki.
Biography[]
Ryuki sent Turtonator to battle Gladion and Silvally. On Gladion's behalf, Moon equipped a Rock Memory to Silvally, to prepare it to battle the Fire/Dragon-type Pokémon. However, as Silvally tried to escape with Moon, Turtonator emitted its spikes, intended to hit Moon but Gladion caught it with his hand. Though it burned his hand upon contact.[1]
Turtonator left dung around the floor, which exploded upon Gladion's impact. To test the blast radius, Gladion had Lycanroc stomp on the dung, despite the risk. Thus, his Lycanroc used Rock Slide to trigger the explosions, letting Silvally carry him and Moon to the other side. As Moon left to find her Pokémon and make medicine for Gladion's injuries, Gladion had Lycanroc use Accelerock on Turtonator, who got hit by the attack.[2] Lycanroc eventually defeated Turtonator, who was knocked down.[3]
