The Ruby (ルビー, Ruby) is a key item exclusive to Generation III. In Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, the Ruby, which was found upon investigating the depths of Mt. Ember, is given to Celio in return for a Rainbow Pass. If the Sapphire is also given to Celio, he will allow trading between FireRed and LeafGreen and Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
