Route 229 is a location introduced in Generation IV.
Description[]
Route 229 is a small route with two trainers, to the north there is a path to Stark Mountain and to the south is the Resort Area. It is also a great place to train Fire and -types due to the amounts of Grass and Bug-type Pokémon.
