Regina is a character appearing in Pokémon Journeys: The Series.
Biography[]
When Regina was younger, she was bullied because the kids in her classroom made fun of her since she looked like the Ice Queen of a picture book that they had seen. As she cried while the other kids made of fun of her, her Glaceon Mirche came and defended her from her bullies, by unleashing Blizzard on them. From then on, similar incidents started to happen, whenever someone tried to hurt her, Mirche would be there for, which led her becoming distant from others resulting with her making no friends.
Eventually, Regina's parents believed that it was Mirche's fault that Regina had been friendless, regardless of how many times she had transferred schools. At first, Regina was afraid of interacting with others due to Mirche using Blizzard onto her new classmates, but started to open up to Chloe, Ash and Goh after realizing they meant no harm. However, just as Mirche wanted to defend Regina again, Regina saw that her Glaceon passed out. After being informed by Professor Cerise that Mirche was alright but had been overusing Blizzard, Regina was regretful for having been so timid and worrying Mirche. She then admitted her wrongs to her parents, who finally realized how she had been feeling and that Mirche shouldn't have been fully blamed.
The next day, Regina was forgiven by her classmates, and she was delighted after she and her friends created an ice castle playground for them. She later moved away from Vermilion City because of her parents' work reasons, and delivered a package of a Glaceon snow globe to Chloe. She also started partaking in Pokémon battling with Mirche, showing how she was overjoyed after Mirche defeated her peer's Victreebel.[1]
