Rasp Cavern is a location in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs.

Overview

Rasp Cavern is a cave north of Teakwood Woods. Outside the cave is a stone that reveals Bidoof's Ranger Sign after the Quest Save Bidoof is completed. Inside the first room is a lithograph of Drapion that blocks a cave and can only be cleared after Drapion is defeated in the first Forest Temple mission in Multiplayer Mode. In room to the right, there is an involith monument related to Raikou and a gate that leads to the trial rooms that is unlocked during the Rainbow Festival. The trial for the festival is to walk upon tiles and light them all up with out stepping on the same tile twice or leaving the tile space. The real trials to obtain the Rainbow Grail start in the room just after the festival trial room. The first trial is to dodge Pokémon attacks for a minute straight, with more Pokémon attacking the more time goes by. The second trial to is pass tiles that shoot up timed spikes. The third trial is to navigate tiles that automatically move the player and reach the other side. The fourth trial is a more difficult version of the festival trail. The final trial is to capture an Absol.

The Player first travels to the cave with Ralph to find Arley and investigate the Pokémon Pinchers. When they arrive, they find Arley spying on the Pinchers as they investigate the involith monument and pulled out it's Emblem. Ukulele Pichu, angry at the Pinchers for kidnapping his friends on Dolce Island, confronts the them only to have it's ukulele broken. The Player then confronts and defeats the Pinchers, but they are run off by Raikou, who is furious at their desecration of the involith.

Later, the Player and their Partner enter the festival trial room for the Rainbow Festival and pass the trial, earning a replica Rainbow Grail from Booker.

When the Sky Fortress rises and the Player learns the only way to break through the barrier surrounding it is with the real Rainbow Grail, they and the Partner enter the real trial rooms to find it. After passing the final trial, the Player obtains the real Rainbow Grail.

In the Post-Game Quest, The Sad Suicune, the player restores the involiths destroyed by the Pinchers and when Raikou's involith is restored, it makes an appearance to thank the Player.
