The Beginning of the End with Kyogre & Groudon IV (Japanese: VS カイオーガ & グラードン IV, HepburnVS Kyogre & Groudon IV) is the 10th chapter of Pokémon Adventures: Volume 19.

Synopsis[]

The Gym Leaders battle Groudon and Kyogre. Meanwhile, after rescuing and healing a Relicanth, Winona and Sapphire are visited by the Red and Blue Orb's guardians.

Chapter plot[]

The tsunami is about to hit Sapphire and Winona. Winona sends Masquerain, who uses Silver Wind, deflecting the attack. Sapphire is surprised, as the tsunami missed them. Altaria takes Sapphire, who holds Relicanth, away from here. Sapphire is certain Masquerain's attack wasn't powerful enough to deflect the tsunami and sees it must be this Relicanth she is holding that stopped the attack. Sapphire bandages Relicanth and decides to name it Relly. Suddenly, Winona receives a call from Wattson, who, along with Flannery, are trying to stop Kyogre, but with no success. Suddenly, Flannery tells Wattson to dodge and the link to the PokéGear is interfered. Wattson lets her know they will do their best.

Sapphire notices the land is expanding, yet the rain is being weaker. Winona sees the rain has stopped and contacts Roxanne and Brawly, who witness the coming of Groudon from the earth. The link is also cut, making Winona upset, wishing the other Gym Leaders would stop this threat. Sapphire and Winona hear voices, telling attacking Kyogre and Groudon won't solve anything, for the real battle is beneath ground. An old man and woman arrive, whose Chimecho try to maintain the energy ball they are in. However, they fail and the couple falls down. Sapphire catches them with her Tropius. The elders are grateful and introduce themselves as the guardians of Red and Blue Orb, which can control Groudon and Kyogre.

They explain Winona that Tate and Liza have rushed to protect the orbs. However, they are missing and the Orbs are stolen. They clarify the real enemy is on the Seafloor Cavern, the same one controlling Kyogre and Groudon.
