Pursuit does damage to the target. If the target is about the switch out, Pursuit is executed first, and its power is doubled. In a
Double Battle, Pursuit can target any Pokémon around the user. In a Triple Battle, Pursuit can only target a Pokémon that's adjacent to the user.
In Side games
Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky, Pursuit gives the user the Counter condition. From Gates to Infinity onward, Pursuit's damage is increased if the target has a status condition, similar to Hex.
