Protosynthesis (Japanese: こだいかっせい, Hepburn: Kodai Kassei, trans. Ancient Activation) is an Ability exclusive to ancient Paradox Pokémon, introduced in Generation IX.
It is the ancient counterpart to Quark Drive.

Photosynthesis increases the Pokémon’s highest stat by 30% or 50% if speed if Harsh Sunlight is active or the Pokémon is holding a Booster Energy.
