This Charizard is a Fire/-type Pokémon owned by Professor Friede. It can Terastallize into a Dark-type Pokémon.
Biography[]
At the break of dawn, Lucca invited Charizard and Friede before the break of dawn to observe a certain Pikachu. As Friede lay down on a stump, Charizard watched Pikachu's ritual—astonished, and alerted Friede to come and watch, which astonished him too. The next morning, after Friede gave up on observing via camera, he requested Charizard to follow Pikachu up to the top of the cyclone and watch the sunrise. After Pikachu got distracted by Friede's commendation of the sunrise view, Pikachu fell down. Charizard swooped down to rescue him, eventually forming a bond between themselves.[1]
Pokémon Horizons: The Series[]
Charizard witnessed Dot becoming an official Trainer after catching her first Pokémon. Friede split the teams up. Charizard traveled with Friede to the cargo ship, where Captain Pikachu took on and eventually defeated a Trainer's Bisharp. After Murdock rung Friede, saying that he can't get hold of Dot, Friede brought out Charizard to make their way to the harbor.[2] Friede initiated a battle on the deck between his two Pokémon: Cap and Charizard, which Roy overheared and decided to watch along with his two Pokémon. Friede soon called to stop the battle, the two Pokémon became thankful to each other after a good battle. [3]
After noticing the ship tilting caused by Orthworm's ambush, Charizard helps Friede to tug the ship back upright, which they do so successfully while leaving Dot to stop Orthworm. Dot captures Tinkatink to unite the two. [4]
