Pokémon the Series: XYZ is the nineteenth season of Pokémon the Series, and the third and the final season of Pokémon the Series: XY and XYZ. Tying in to Pokémon the Series: XY, Pokémon the Series: XY Kalos Quest and the Mega Evolution Specials, it features Ash Ketchum, his Pikachu, the two siblings From Lumiose City, Clemont and Bonnie, and his old childhood friend, Serena as they continue their adventures in the Kalos region, catching new Kalos Pokémon, and learning more new secrets of Mega Evolution. Also, it introduced a story involving Team Flare and Zygarde as part of this arc.

Due to the announcement of the anime moving to Disney XD,[1], this is the final season that was aired on Cartoon Network in the United States.

Synopsis[]

Follow Ash, Pikachu, and their friends as they explore the deepest mysteries of the Kalos region! Team Flare has plans for the Legendary Pokémon Zygarde and the secret it holds. Alain's ongoing search for the source of Mega Evolution intersects with our heroes' adventures. A collection of Kalos records reveals that Aila’s true love, Jan, attempted to vanquish the Destruction Pokémon Yveltal. When he failed, the land was drained of all life as Yveltal became a cocoon and turned Aila to stone.
