If a member of the Pokémon Wiki wants to apply for user rights, they are allowed to do so here. Similarly, a member is allowed to vote on applications for rights as well. Please read the following regulations and instructions thoroughly before voting or submitting an application. This page contains information about the demotion policy. The vote totals required for the demotion remain the same as those for promotions as well.

Rules and Regulations
Upon your request, it will be discussed among community members for a period of fourteen days. After the time has expired, the user's request will be reviewed and a discussion may be held between all active Administrators. If the request is denied, you are prohibited from requesting these rights for thirty days. Remember, when voting or requesting rights, your signature must have a link to your userpage and talkpage.
When you add a comment or a vote, please do not use word bubbles, as the numbering will get messed up. If word bubbles are used, it will have the template coding removed to regular coding and the unsigned template will be used in place of a signature.
Requirements for Requesting User Rights
- You must not have a recent block history.
- You should not be less than three months old.
- You must edit main-space at least three days a week.
- You may self-nominate, but do so with discretion and not vote for yourself.
- You must add an explanation of why you deserve the rights.
Voting Criteria
- You must be over three months old on the wiki.
- You must provide a reason for your vote.
- You must have over 250 main-space edits.
- You must not have a recent block history.

Gema has proved himself to be a competent staff member with his knowledge and his ability to improve articles. For example, he's improved the Pokémon Stadium page by quite a bit, including info not found on Bulbapedia.
