- The Pokémon's image filename must consist of the Pokédex number followed by its name, with no space in between (Except if it's part of the Pokémon's name).
- If the Pokémon has more than one form, add "2-" to the right of the pipe on each of the parameters below the current information; the image for the second form must have an "A" to the right of the Pokédex Number; followed by "3-" and "B" for the third form and so on.
- Pokémon articles should be written in Gender-neutral language regardless of gender and in plural form.

Article titles[]
Articles should be named after the title of the subject. For Pokémon and human characters that appear in multiple aspects of Pokémon media, the pages for the Pokémon species and the game variants of the characters should be named without parentheses. TCG appearances, anime and manga appearances of characters, and Pokémon that serve a notable enough role in anime episodes or movies are to be given parentheses for disambiguation, for example: Brock, Brock (anime) and Lugia, Lugia (MS002). In addition, Lorelei (who was mistranslated as an anime-exclusive character in the dub and therefore improperly localized as "Prima") will have her dub name mentioned in the opening paragraphs of her anime article with a redirect from "Prima", however her article in general will refer to her by her proper name used throughout the rest of Pokémon media ("Lorelei") for consistency.
For episodes and chapters, each article will be named by the standard of "<code>XXX: <English title>". For example, the first episode of the anime is to be named "TB001: Pokémon - I Choose You!". For newly announced and released episodes and chapters, the article will be named simply by the code ("<code>XXX") with the English name parameter of the {{Nihongo}} template listed as a simple dash (-). Once the episode or chapter's English title is revealed, the page is to be renamed to follow the aforementioned "<code>XXX: <English title>" format. If it is confirmed the episode or chapter will not be dubbed or translated, the page will be renamed to "<code>XXX: <direct translation of the Japanese title>". If an non-dubbed or untranslated episode or chapter has an official title (either localized or translated) given by an official English source, such as SM064: A Touchdown for the Team! and certain ANA Pikachu shorts which have official translations of their Japanese titles given by PDFs such as this one, those will be used to name the episode in the article's title.
