Pokémon Wiki

All FANDOM related wikis have staff members who help keep the place running smoothly. They are given certain rights, which helps them to properly enforce the community guidelines. If needed, they can take action on any user. Let us understand well about these various staff posts.

Staff members are awarded a special badge, which is displayed on their profile pictures. Also, names of all the current and former staff members are mentioned in this page. Staff members' policies are present in this page.

If you are wondering how to apply for user rights, this page will help you.

Bureaucrat

A Bureaucrat ranks highest when it comes to a wiki. They are the most experienced members of their wikis.

They need the Administrator role to perform higher administrative tasks, but leaving this aside, they are able to do the following:

  • They are able to promote/demote users to/from the Administrator, Content Moderator, Head Discussion Moderator, Discussion Moderator, Rollback and Newscaster roles.
  • They are even able to promote Administrators to the rank of Bureaucrats, but cannot remove a Bureaucrat from his/her position. This can only be done by the Fandom Staff, Wiki Manager and Fandom Helpers.

  • They are capable of blocking anyone and can easily remove their own blocks.

Bureaucrats are given a Bureaucrat tag, which is displayed next to their name on their profile.
