Pokémon Ranger is a spinoff series of games for the Pokémon franchise. It consists of three installments, all of which were released for the Nintendo DS. Furthermore, all three installments were part of the Wii U Virtual Console. The series features Pokémon Rangers, which train wild Pokémon to assist temporarily assist them with tasks. Each title takes place in a different region
The series also had a tie-in film titled Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, and various episodes of Pokémon the Series feature elements from the Pokémon Ranger series.
