Pokémon Paradise is a location in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. It is the home base for the Player and Partner and their adventure team and is across Post Town.
Plot[]
Seeking to make true friends and help make the world a better place, the Partner saved up money to buy a piece of barren land from Quagsire to build their paradise on. One the way to complete the purchase, the Partner meets the Player, who accompanies them to the purchase. After the Partner purchases the land from Quagsire and the Player decides to stay and help build the Paradise, the two decide the first thing to build is a house to sleep in. They go to see Gurdurr, a carpenter, and ask him to build their house, but later discover he is running a scam with Scraggy to trick clients into acquiring valuable gems for them. After learning about Gurdurr's history, the two confront him and convince him to end his criminal ways and return to honest work. With some help, Gurdurr builds the two a house and later opens a shop in Paradise to build facilities.
After Vizirion, Emolga, and Dunsparce join the Player's team, Quagsire opens up a shop and Quagsire's Assembly, where the Player's team members can be changed. He also reveals he has hired Scraggy, who he captured and pressured to reform, to open Scraggy's Savvy moves, where moves can be relearned or forgotten. Some time later, when the V-Wave comes in, Quagisre sets up a board that explains the V-Wave, but it is quickly replaced by Victini and his V-Wheel.
Shops[]
Request Counter[]
Run by an Azumarill, job requests are stored, accepted, canceled and deleted here. Unlike previous games, only one job can be accepted at a time.
Quagsire's Assembly[]
In addition to selling items like Kecleon's shop, Quagsire can remove and add members to the current team. The stats of recruited Pokémon can be viewed here and they can also be permanently removed.
Scraggy's Savvy Moves[]
Moves can be remembered or forgotten here.
V-Wave[]
A special weather phenomenon that empowers Pokémon whose type matches that of the type of wave active. The type of V-Wave changes daily. Effects of the V-Wave include: powering up moves, gaining more experience points, occasionally saving PP used for moves, and other effects that change daily.
V-Wheel[]
A roulette run by Victini that can be played once a day to change the V-Wave type of the day. The game is won if the roulette lands on panel with Victini's face. A set amount of Poké (1,000, 2,500, 5,000 or 7,777) can be bet to increase the chances of winning. The forecast for the W-Vave can also be observed from here
Gurdurr Crew[]
Gurdurr and his Timburr assistants can use materials acquired through jobs to prepare land to build facilities on, redecorate the house, and create facilities. There are four types of areas that unprepared land can be made into.
Area | Materials needed | Cost | Unlocking requirement |
---|---|---|---|

|
300 | N/A |

600 | Build at least three facilities |

1,500 | Build at least nine facilities |
Recruitment capacity[]
The more areas of land that are prepared, the high the maximum number of Pokémon that can be recruited.

4 | 120 |

Facilities[]
Facilities are special shops that can be built on prepare land. Facilities include fields for harvesting berries and seeds, dojos to increase the development of moves, stores to buy and swap items, and several mini-games. A maximum of 32 facilities can be built in Paradise.
Berry and Seed store[]
A store where berries and seeds can be bought and sold for a higher price 1.5x more than selling items at Kecleon Market.
Prize Palace[]
Similar to Spinda's Cafe from Explorer's of Sky, the Player can use tickets acquired through other shops to attempt a lottery prize.
Instant Tickets[]
Prize Tickets are acquired through other means, such as the Sunken Treasure and Swap Shop facilities, except for Prism Tickets which aren't available in the game. Unlike Silver and Gold Rank unlocking Silver and Gold Tickets, respectively, the first and second upgrade of the shop unlock the ability to use these.
Scratch Tickets[]
For the price of 100, the player can get a scratch ticket. This utilizes the Touch Screen. Scratching off two symbols wins a regular prize and three stars wins a better prize. There are six spaces, four of which contain symbols.
Random Tickets[]
For the price of 100 each, a maximum of ten Mini Random Tickets can be bought daily. The results announcing a win or a loss are released the following day.
Detour Guide[]
Run by Woobat, this facility allows the player to toggle a notification which informs the player if they arrive on a floor with a detour in dungeons. After the first upgrade, a Detour List will appear in the menu which lists all the detours for dungeons that the player has previously visited as well as the method of entry. After the second upgrade, the shop will begin selling the keys used for detours for 1650 Poké.
Swap Shop[]
Similair to Spinda's Café, items can be traded for other items or prize tickets.

Slow Orb | Quick Orb x 2 |
All Power Up Orb | Evasion Orb x 2
|
Prize Ticket | Any four items |
Elite Boutique[]
As the description suggests, items can be bought here for higher and lower prices than at other shops. The selection of items changes daily. Upon upgrading, rarer items can be bought here. After a certain amount of days have passed, the shop will hold a sale for a few days after which the shop owner will leave and the facility closes.
Oodles of Orbs[]
This shop sells orbs and it also buys orbs at 1.5× the normal price.
Fields[]
Berries and Seeds specific to each field can be planted here. After a few days, the Player can harvest more of the specific berry or seed. However, the Player can occasionally find other items instead of the planted one.
Dojos[]
Moves specific to each dojo type can be trained here, to increase their growth outside of dungeons; increasing power, PP and accuracy. Once per day in-game, 100 Poké can be charged to train moves. Alternatively a manual can be used as to train many times a day per each manual used. This facility is always attended by a Pokémon corresponding to the dojo type. In Post Town, a Travelling Sales-mon opens up a temporary dojo for a few days that hasn't been built yet.
Others[]
Sunken Treasure[]
Run by Starmie, this is a mini-game where the player collects black, blue and red treasure chests by tilting the 3DS. Touching a Chinchou or a rock deducts one treasure chest starting with black chests. Unlike Treasure Boxes, they are opened upon obtaining. The game can be played daily.
Beartic Slide[]
Run by Beartic, this is a mini-game where the Player flicks pucks on the Touch Screen into a hole on the upper screen. Beartic charges 100 Poké per game. It has a time limit of one minute. Three types of pucks appear in the mini-game: Big-(50 points), Middle-(30 points) and Small-(10 points) size pucks. Up to ten high score records are kept. Three different power-up chips appear in-game: double the points, continuous big pucks, and a bigger hole. These power-ups last for ten seconds. Prizes include various items in exchange for 1,000, 2,000 and 2,500 points. The prizes available differ after each game.
Diggers' Den[]
Run by Drilbur, who has a random chance of showing up in Paradise, this facility allows the player to fund Drilbur's excavation. Drilbur will bring back varying amounts of each day until he finds a dungeon underground. The player can choose to have Drilbur dig 10, 50, or 100 feet at a time, paying 100, 500, or 1000 respectively. The dungeons found in the Diggers' Den cannot be accessed any other way and are called Treasure Trove. The number of variations of the Treasure Trove is believed to be four, depending on which type of land Drilbur excavates.
Music Paradise[]
Run by Meloetta, all the background music tracks in-game including the DLC tracks can be played here, similar to Sky Jukebox of Explorers of Sky. Meloetta will only appear once the Bittercold is defeated. The music will keep playing while in Pokémon Paradise.
As the player increases their Paradise Rank, more music will become available to play in Pokémon Paradise. Some songs can only obtained through purchasing a DLC dungeon, these songs in the DLC packs are all from previous Pokémon Mystery Dungeon installments (except for the Adventure Squad games). There are also some tracks that cannot be obtained, but appear in the game's code (and the unused DLC code).
There is a total of 102 tracks (or 126, if all DLC is purchased) during normal gameplay.

Trivia[]
- The more land that is prepared to house facilities, the more grass will appear around the originally barren area around the house.
