Summary[]
Red/Blue Rescue Team[]
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team are the first installments of the Mystery Dungeon series. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team is the second Pokémon game for the Nintendo DS. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team is the last Game Boy Advance game ever to be released.
The game starts with a human who was transformed into a Pokémon and cannot remember anything. The human then befriends a Pokémon that becomes his/her partner. The team then recruit Pokémon to their team, face foes, and try to save the world, all while trying to discover the reason that the human transformed into a Pokémon.
Explorers of Time/Darkness[]
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time/Explorers of Darkness, both released for the Nintendo DS, are the second installments of the Mystery Dungeon series. Like their predecessors, these installments are about a human who transforms into a Pokémon. However the main theme of these games are exploration, instead of rescue.
After helping a fellow Pokémon, the human will join an exploration team, discovering new dungeons, trying to capture a thief that threatens the world, and revealing shocking secrets. The game featured Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
Explorers of Sky[]
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky was released in Japan on April 18, 2009, and announced at E3 2009 in North America which it will be released on September 23, 2009. The main plot is set to be an expanded version of the story in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time/Darkness. It also has five special episodes set in the past or future, in which various characters are starred.
Gates to Infinity[]
The plot follows a human summoned to the Pokémon world and turned into a Pokémon. They help build a paradise for Pokémon and eventually learn the reason they were summoned was to stop a threat to the world.
Super Mystery Dungeon[]
Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon was announced at the E3 2015 and then released on November 20 of the same year. The plot, as it is customary, follows a human who was turned into a Pokémon and had their memory wiped clean. After getting introduced into a small village, they meet their partner Pokémon in-turn. The human will, after a short time, explore new dungeons, connect with Pokémon and uncover the secrets and truth behind a mysterious apocalypse that threatens the entire world, while trying to figure the motives for their upbringing into said world.
Rescue Team DX[]
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX was released on March 6, 2020. Being a remake of Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, the story is similar to the originals, with different, watercolor-like graphics.
